Board of Governors
The responsibilities of the Connect Florida Board of Governors are strategic -- governance, fiduciary, decision-making, and planning. The Board meets twelve (12) times throughout the year, beginning with a planning retreat each summer and a meeting each month. In addition to the Chair-elect, each year seven (7) members are chosen by the Nominating Committee to serve on the Board of Governors. The chair of Connect Florida is also a member of Leadership Florida's Council of Advisors.

Regional Councils
On the regional level, the specific responsibilities of Regional Council Members fall into five categories: convening members, communicating and promoting Connect Florida activities, recruitment, alliance building, and translating statewide priorities into regional action. Regional Councils will determine the occurrence of their meetings within their region. There are five Regional Council members in each of our nine geographic regions, one member of each Council is chosen by the Council to be chair of that region. All five members are selected by the Nominating Committee. Each year, at least half of the members on each Council rotate off and are replaced by new members. Regional Council Chairs are also members of the Board of Governors.
Statewide Committee Chairs
Statewide committees include: Membership, Development, Communications, Survey, Awards, and Leadership Institute.
